Annexe Lodge cottage in Drymen

The hot tub was good and the hosts were nice

It wasn’t as clean as you would think expect for £180 a night , kitchen was sticky and washing machine was dirty Bed base was also dirty

The hot tub was nice. The washing machine and drier were great. The owner was very friendly. The shower was hot.

The construction was not soundproofed at all. The rooms were small. I prefer blackout curtains or shutters as the light came in. The kitchen could have been more complete. The slanted roof above the dining room table was awkward. I did not like the electric heaters.

Hot tub is excellent. Lovely quiet area and close to all anemeties that you require.

The location is perfect for anyone doing the WHW or for people looking for day walks and trips from Drymen. You can easily walk to local restaurants. Having the private outdoor space and hot tub was fantastic and it was well cared for and cleaned everyday. The property is ideal for self catering with a full kitchen and relaxed evenings in after chilling in the hot tub. The host was helpful and let us know he was available but gave us privacy.

Some things are a little rough around the edges like the furniture. The fridge is very small. No tea towel was provided and wine glasses were plastic. The place was mostly clean but we found an old dog toy under the sofa and felt the crockery all needed a wash before we could use it.
