Tucker at Palm Trace Landings Fort Lauderdale

I would have liked to leave a positive review, however the management’s communication to its onsite employees is so bad it lead to a terrible situation that was unplanned and emotional damaging! We had someone walk into our room unannounced and unplanned! We left early as we no longer felt safe in our place.

This property has huge potential - it's located in a convenient area near the highway, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but the building/units need upgrades. First of all, the water (sinks, toilets, showers) were yellow (not clear). We asked the hotel team and they said it's part of their water treatment process but I'm thinking it can also be due to rust pipes so we didn't want to take a chance so we bought many bottles of water for drinking, boiling for coffee, tea, etc. When you flush the toilets there is yellow water sitting in the bowl, yellow water coming out of the shower head so we didn't feel safe and it was unappealing to take a bath as who would want to soak in yellow water. We stayed in a unit that was on the main floor and it had such a musty smell that even room sprays and plug-ins didn't mask the smell. We spoke to a staff member and she said that all units on the main floor have a musty/moldy smell. It was so bad I developed a dry cough for the whole trip while staying in this place. The customer service team was excellent though-they tried to make our stay comfortable but there's nothing that could be done about the musty/moldy smell in the room and the yellow water. We will not recommend this place if you're looking for a place that has clean/clear (not yellow) water and clean smelling rooms.

I did not like that Tucker provided only one key to the property. I lost my key once and spent whole day trying to receive a new key. Tucker did not help me to have a new key. Fortunately, I in the night time I found key in the grass next to my condo. I dropped this key accidently from my pocket. I was very nervous. If I had second key, I would make a copy at Home depo for $10 bucks. Problem would be solved at few minutes.

Smelled of disinfectant, probably to cover mold .windows didn’t work.very dark,not nice.

Felt just like home. Much better, bigger than a hotel room. Full kitchen, W/D . Many gyms and pools on property.

Apartment should have been looked over, toilet seat was extremely loose, the showerhead fell off while I was in shower, sliding door was unluck, and couldn't lock it
