Kan Tulum Hotel

Kan Tulum is a different type of stay, being in the jungle is a real treat. The rooms are spacious, designed with artistic interior styling and very comfortable. We had our own private pool which was great as we did not need to use the communal one. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use any hotel services.so cannot comment. The location is further out that the main touristy side, which we were happy with.

The access road to the hotel could be improved with some gravel to make it easier for entry and exit into the road. We had construction outside our room both days until passed 6pm which wasn't pleasant.

It was a nightmare staying there they were under construction even in the cenote, they had construction going on in it. They said construction would be over by 4 PM. It wasn’t over till 7:30 PM. I tried to book somewhere else, but it was too late in the day. The construction started again early in the morning about 8:30 AM. There was trash at our private pool, which was not connected to our room which the photo show showed that they were connected to the room. They were not there was no hot tub in our room like it said online there was only a big bathtub that got lukewarm water at best. Don’t come here if you want to sleep or relax it’s a nightmare.

The construction, the trash in my private pool the fact that my pool is not connected to my room like it said online. The construction inside the cenotè,the construction right outside my window the way I couldn’t get in touch with a concierge for my room unless I got online there was no phone to the concierge. The way my room faced another room and you could see straight inside another room for my room no privacy at all this place was not relaxing. I hated it. I will not recommend anyone to go there and I will never go there again.

Nous n’avons pas pu profiter du cenote… également de la piscine, une grande piscine avec 5 transats mais ils étaient tout le temps pris !!! Des travaux tout l’après midi, un jacuzzi sans bulles, et à notre arrivé nous avions des transats dans notre espace privatif et le lendemain on nous les a retirés… deux personnes que l’on a trouvé dans notre espace privatif alors qu’ils n’étaient pas sensé être la…

We had an amazing stay here. The hotel is so beautiful. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Unfortunately we had our bag stolen on the ado bus on our way to Tulum and the staff were more than helpful. The room was so spacious and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We didnt get to try any of the classes but next time we’d love to. Very good value for money as well!
