Kan Tulum Hotel

Amazing hotel in the midle of the Tulum jungle. The decor is just unreal and everywhere you look you are just in awe, they respect the nature of the area so well. The room was also outstanding, well worth the money in my opinion. We had a private pool which was very nice and a decent size. The room has a mini fridge and a set of cutlery + plates. You also get some free water in a filter in the room which was nice. The toiletries are also organic and very good. You can get as many beach towels as you would like from reception. We tried the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious. Dinner is leaning towards a fine dining experience, so not the cheapest but I was glad we had entertaining for the evening (there was also a live band) We didn't go into the cenote or the main pool but they did look great. The staff is very polite and friendly. They also have quite a lot of parking spaces in front of the hotel.

There is no signal in the area so download offline maps before you get here so you don't get lost. The road to the entrance of the hotel and the parking lot is a dirt road but it's not very long, so just be careful with your car especially if it's not a SUV. Given that it's located right in the jungle with nothing around we encountered some bats in the evenining when swimming in the pool. The restaurant does fill up quickly at dinner time so when we got there we had to be seated in a different room than where the band was, wish we would have been told when we checked in that we should book a table for dinner.

L'hôtel a été privatisé pour un évènement alors que des chambres étaient louées. Pendant deux nuits nous n'avons pas pu dormir car la musique extérieure était beaucoup trop forte, on se croyait dans une boite de nuit. De plus la piscine et le restaurant de l'hôtel ont aussi été privatisés donc on ne pouvait pas les utiliser. Un autre soir nous avons demandé un room service au restaurant, ils n'ont jamais répondu. Nous nous sommes plaints auprès de la réception mais aucun dédommagement nous a été proposé. Nous avons demandé un remboursement de notre séjour que nous attendons toujours....

Le cadrée est magnifique et le personnel, très sympathique et souriant.

Hôtel magnifique et original, décoration naturelle exceptionnelle, on se croirait dans des nids d'oiseaux ou dans le film Avatar... C'est le style "bobo branché New age" de Tulum. Les chambres sont superbes et grandes avec coin cuisine, belle salle de bain et balcon terrasse. Certaines chambres ont des piscines sur leur terrasse et d'autres des pool housse en roof top. Jolie piscine et cénote naturelle dans l'hôtel avec jardin style jungle. Ne pas hésiter à déambuler et à monter dans les nids d'aigle des bâtiments. L'hôtel propose des prestations haut de gamme que nous n'avons pas utilisées de même que le restaurant où nous ne sommes pas allés. Le personnel est très bien comme d'ailleurs dans tous les hôtels où nous avons séjourné pendant notre road trip de 17 jours dans la péninsule du Yucatan. Je recommande cet hôtel pour le style en particulier.
