The owner was super nice and kind. She was very helpful. I would stay here again the next time round.

The living space was very clean and the parking was great too bad I only took pictures after check out !

There was long dark hair stuck in the shower wall tiles , I did not expect to get two twin beds , I heard about 5-7 different voices directly outside the front door after 10pm and some of the dishes put away weren’t even clean

I cannot separate the accommodation from my whole experience in New Orleans, which has been wonderful all in all. The place was quiet and I found it clean (everything I look for!). The host was very nice and helpful. I will miss my walks in the morning from the accommodation to the city center, stopping by the Tremé Coffeehouse. I already feel some nostalgia!

I truly have nothing to highlight here regarding the accommodation as such.

The apartment is well furnished and has a fully fitted kitchen. There are a number of convenience stores nearby which means you can prepare your own meals if you are on a budget. The access to various streaming services was a bonus. Kim made me feel very welcome and made several helpful recommendations, including a branch of the Red Slipper cafe, which is about 500 yards down the road.

The bedroom door (in effect the front door, since this is a one room apartment) opens directly onto the street, which is a bit unnerving at night. Apart from the convenience stores the area is mostly industrial units and shops and not very residential so for going out probably best to use own car (since there is parking right outside the apartment) or an Uber. To be fair this is probably true for many hotels outside the city centre.

I had the most wonderful time! Kim recommended some awesome local restaurants and bars so we could experience the very best of what NOLA had to offer! There is a convenient gas station across the street that had snacks, water, and essentials so it was very easy to get what we needed for the times we didn't want to venture into the city.

Everything was great! I recommend budgeting some money for Ubers to visit French Quarter and other places. You could walk, but you probably don't want to!
