The Garden room

The property is a separate building to the side of the owners' home in Honiton. It was really easy to find. It has its own parking space and entrance, so it's quite private and quiet. It's a short walk to the town centre, with plenty of places to eat and drink, and within walking distance of the train station. We thought the room was nicely fitted out and very clean. The bed was comfy and we slept well. There's a small fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, and the owner provided some supplies like bread, milk, porridge pots, and cereal bars. The toilet and basin are through a door at one end, and the shower enclosure has a curtain for privacy. There is also a small table with a couple of chairs. Like many other reviewers, I have to say the owners are amazing - so friendly and helpful. Kimmy checked regularly that we had everything we needed. She was very thoughtful and caring when my wife unfortunately broke her arm when we were out and about one day. I definitively recommend this property, and I hope we can visit again some time.

Great communication from owner. Lovely welcome on arrival. Great location - a quiet situation, but only 5 minutes walk to Honiton town centre. Very clean. Equipped with everything you could need for a stay.

Nothing not to like - everything was great.

A gem of a find for my nieces wedding on the Tracey Estate. Couldn't have wished for more welcoming hosts who were so kind, giving us a lift to the wedding venue. We had a fabulous selection of nice things for breakfast too. 😋 Right near town and in a quiet cul de sac location.

Nothing not to like!

It was a lovely stay. Had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Stayed 3 nights and bed was so comfortable. Enjoyed a nice continental breakfast. Was really handy to have the microwave. Enjoyed sitting on the chair outside. Would highly recommend.

The host Kimmi was extremely nice and very helpful ,if you need advice just ask Kimmi , always has time for guests , I would go there again anyday .

Everything perfect

Host was lovely and welcoming, asking us to contact her if there was anything that we needed. She had made sure that the Garden Room was absolutely spotless and that there was an air purifier in the room as I had advised about allergies that my other half has. There was also a tower fan to circulate cool air to make sure that we did not get too hot. The room was beautifully presented and there was everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was instant porridge pots, toast with butter and jam and fruit, all left in the room, with a fridge for those items that needed to be kept cool, including sufficient milk for several cups of coffee/tea (sachets/teabags also provided). There was a small table and chairs to eat at or a bench and table in the garden area if you wanted to eat outside. The location was great and made for easy walking into town to find somewhere to eat or to pick up some shopping., so if you prefer a cooked breakfast, there are plenty of cafes to choose from in the town. I liked the fact that there was a separate entrance so you could come and go as you pleased and a parking area for the car. Would definitely return in the future.

As my partner and I both like a soft bed, the mattress was a little firmer than we would have liked, however that did not stop us from having a couple of good night's sleep.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable and well thought out. The bed was very comfortable. The room was warm, with a small heater if needed. The breakfast was good. Our hosts were very attentive and couldn’t be more helpful. This is a fabulous place to stay for a couple. Highly recommended.
