Dangerous stairs to bathroom. No shelving in bathroom (nowhere to put anything) No table/shelves in bedroom (nowhere to put anything) Lounge Seating not adequate for 4 people and uncomfortable. Very gloomy lighting. It was however very clean.
GBThe property was immaculate and very comfortable. In a fantastic location - about a 5 minute walk to the city centre. Lovely, light and modern interior but still kept little bits of olden charm. We loved it, and would definitely stay here again!

The hob wasnt working so we weren’t able to use it after reading the instructions so had to give up. It would turn on but not heat up when you chose the temperature you wanted. Too complicated
GBGBLovely property, recently refurbished with comfy beds and a decent location, about a 12 min walk from the main attractions in York. Would stay again!
The living room could do with better ambient lighting for the evening, sofa/loveseat was a bit hard – could use new foam in the cushions, but it was clean and tidy. There are a lot of stairs if you're someone with disabilities or are a bit older. The loft room has a low ceiling clearance on the sides. Not a problem for me, but not super accessible if you have physical disabilities. I was with my folks, who are in their 70s, so they took the first floor bedroom. I was a bit concerned about the hall between the bedroom and the bathroom for nighttime visits because there's an odd step at the top of the stairs. We left the light on so they could see where they were stepping.
