Expect to be so much fly, since is next to the lake and farm too

Beautiful location, next to the lake. It is in a very "local" little place, next to chickens, fisherman, stuff like that, which I love but for some may be offputting. Sunrise here on the lake can be epic... The owners are very lovely people and will welcome you warmly. This goes a long way! The breakfast was good, we took it to our balcony which was super nice. Room was very clean, fresh, well furnished with a decent bathroom. Bed was very good quality nice places to put your belongings

As you can see, they are terraced rooms, and I could hear people in the next room or wherever, way into the early hours (probably waking for the nearby mountain sunrise hike). So, that is not ideal, but it wouldn't deter me from staying again. The room is good value, considering the area is quite expensive, with a shortage of quality accommodation. I think most people get transport to Batur from neighbouring tourist areas, so local places are difficult to find.
