City Centre Rooms in Apartment

The location was great to the central area of the city. It was clean and suited my basic needs for the duration of my stay. I was in an en-suite room, which was clean too. The bed was comfortable and clean.

The noise of the trams and noise from the street was quite loud at night which woke me up.

Location

15 days since my stay. I have sent multiple messages to the hosts, enquiring about my security deposit and they have blanked every single one. I was dubious about paying the deposit to begin with as I thought I would be able to do this when I arrived but they were very pushy about me doing this via bank transfer before they would give me any details about the apartment, including the location. I had no choice but to pay it and take the risk that they would actually give me details of my stay because I had nowhere else to go and no more money. Luckily once I paid a security deposit, they gave me a location to collect the keys and detailed information on how to find and enter the apartment. So I was relieved. Everything seemed fine at first glance, however the bed linen was dirty, there were stains on it so clearly hadn’t been changed after the previous guests. Everything else was basic and appeared to be clean, I was expecting this and it was all I required for my stay. The location is great, central to all amenities. It was very noisy but this would be expected due to the location. There was no hot water in the shower on my last morning but this had previously been okay. The hosts really could do better at communicating and I want my security deposit refunded to me.

Nothing of note

The property was located in the city centre, close to many facilities and the transportation system. The room I stayed in also had a private kitchen, which is good for people who want to stay longer. However, it is better to have earplugs for sleeping at night, as tramway noise can be annoying late at night and early in the morning. The room was also very clean, but the sofa bed was somehow uncomfortable.

The information on the procedure of getting the keys and room address was very poor. The owners could clearly explain their thoughts but did not respond appropriately.

Beautiful room on a stylish property right in the city centre. It’s walking distance to all major attractions including Northern Quarter, Chinatown and Deansgate. It’s literally 2 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. The bed was super comfortable with nice wildlife cotton bedding and everywhere was super clean. The online check in was quick and easy.
