Stable Cottage, Bishops Castle

Clean & tidy, plenty of cooking utensils, & the entry instructions were precise.

Struggled with getting the shower perfect but it could well have been me.

Charming cottage in a fantastic location. Clean and well presented. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything one could possibly need with clear instructions on use of appliances etc. All necessities – washing up liquid, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil plus a pint of fresh milk. There was also a bottle of wine, cake and fresh flowers to welcome us. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed our stay very much. Oh and thanks for the coat stand, how many places have we stayed where there's nowhere to hang a jacket.

Nothing bad to report, if pressed I'd say we could have done with an extra hand towel but we managed perfectly well. I think my partner mentioned something about the kitchen knives not being sharp. That's really all I can think of.

Our second stay and we love it at Stable cottage.Liz is always happy to help if you have any problems too. The lovely upside down cottage is just behind the Three Tuns brewery and pub so not far to walk for your evening meal and drink.Other pubs and eateries along the streets.Six Bells is very good and so friendly.Our first night we had a barbecue there.Lots of walks from your doorstep and buses to Shrewsbury and Ludlow too Thanks Liz for the usual beautiful flowers on our arrival and grateful for the milk,wine and cake

Upside down living I perfect for this property ,

Great location, nice sized and well equipped accommodation. We had all we needed supplied. Very comfy bed. Nice to have cake and wine on arrival.

It would benefit from putting the fridge on a mat or putting rubber feet on the fridge as the vibration through the floor could be heard from the bedroom below.

The location was great for me for work it had everything I needed for my stay. Bed was comfortable and the stables were warm and welcoming. Property was quiet considering it was behind a pub. The little extras were very much appreciated. Wish I could have explored the town and its history. Another visit maybe needed!
