Wave View Hotel

I stayed in this hotel for 5 to 6 hours only and it was clean and comfy.

Nothing.

Late night check in. Reception staff was nice, let me borrow a phone charger and efficiently booked a taxi to the airport when I left. Room was ok, good size.

Breakfast was awful, low quality, nothing fresh, with drinks not even included (only water). Hot water stopped when taking a shower so had to finish with cold water. Would be great if the hotel provided some information in advance on transportation when arriving, as airport taxis are a big scam/completely overcharge visitors so would have been nice to be warned.

Very clean, comfortable and efficient. Reception staff were helpful. We used it as a 2 night stay before and after Dimanyiat island trip then headed off to the desert. It is ideally placed for Al Mouq marina for the trips, this is also a good place to find good at night and reasonably priced. There is a Chinese restaurant at the hotel with good food.

There is no character, it could be anywhere. It is in the middle of a patch of land that is being developed so feels a bit like a building site, you wouldn’t go there for the views.
