Open space studio in Shawlands

Nice warm flat plenty of space for us. There were free toiletries and coffee provided.

The flat is looking a little tired but doesn't affect your comfort. Third floor no lift could be tricky if you have a lot of luggage.

This studio flat is a rare little gem – beautifully bright, full of character, and designed with real heart. The space feels both stylish and soulful, with wonderful creative touches and brilliant use of natural light. It’s modern, colourful, and genuinely comfortable — the bed was among the best I’ve slept in anywhere. It’s one of the most light-filled rooms I’ve ever stayed in, and I love how green the little estate is – there’s a real sense of pride in the communal gardens, with their lovely, verdant old trees. The location is ideal: peaceful and leafy, yet just minutes from the lively heart of Shawlands full of amenities, travel hub and some vibrant local night life (not everything is in the city centre). The host’s communication was outstanding — clear, warm, and perfectly crafted. Even late in the evening, their messages were calm, thoughtful, and reassuring, which made arrival easy and stress-free after a long day. It’s outstanding value for money, and I’ll definitely stay again. A truly welcoming, thoughtfully created space that radiates care, creativity, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

My only two small criticisms are that a couple of the blinds don’t pull down and stay down properly – I think simple drawstring blinds (they’re inexpensive) would be a definite improvement. It really is a beautiful, light-filled room. The other minor issue was that I woke once during the night feeling a little cold. A pair of fleecy bottoms was all that was needed, and it was otherwise very snug. My partner loved the photos I sent and hopes to join me next time – I’ll certainly be looking out for your listing whenever I’m back in Glasgow. She does, however, tend to feel the cold, so perhaps a couple of good-quality electric heaters (if they’re not already tucked away somewhere) would make the space even cosier.

The location was ideal, communication from the host was excellent and they were very understanding when we got held up leaving on time. Clean, tidy, basic yet sufficient facilities and perfect for what we were needing.

Couldn't really fault anything to be fair. There were minimal cooking facilities including a small hob, air fryer, toaster and kettle but this didn't affect our stay as we didn't need to cook. Just might be something for future guests to consider.

Vriendelijke host, het appartement was schoon. Over algemeen rustige flat.

Er was geen lift aanwezig, dit was niet vermeld op de site. Wel zo handig als je met koffer reist en je helemaal naar de bovenste verdieping moet.

Trato del personal y los detalles de los propietarios a la hora de indicarnos la ubicación y la facilidad de check in fuera de hora. Proporcionan todos los utensilios básicos de cocina, vajilla y electrodomésticos. Y la comodidad de la cama.

La zona es tranquila y residencial pero bastante vieja. Las instalaciones un tanto antiguas, un cuarto piso sin ascensor y sin televisor ni conexión a internet.

Really did value for money and a nice little flat with everything you need for a few days. Host was extremely pleasant to communicate with and all went smooth.

The damn seagulls outside, but I doubt this is specific for this place.

We really loved this place. It felt so cosy and welcoming. There are lots of little extras that make it feel like a home from home. The location is excellent. The communication from the host is so lovely. We were able to spend time together in the morning as check out is at 12 and this really means a lot. I would stay here again for sure 😃
