Gate scratched my car

Salt of the earth hostess. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you dear Agnes. Great location only about 5 minutes drive to the Sunbet arena for concerts. Bed was super comfy.

Room fridge wasn't plugged in when we arrived so we couldn't use it for the drinks or the food that we brought. Only coffee was provided in the room but would like a small milk waiting in the fridge to welcome us. Another reason to have the fridge plugged in for our arrival. Some Rusks in the room would be nice. Had to ask for a hand towel for the bathroom Was given two towels but ladies like two towels each so if a lady is the guest, please provide two towels. One for the head and one for the body. We men only need one towel usually. Room curtains need blackout. The room faces North so the room was bright as day from very early. We didn't get back from the concert until midnight so was not easy to get woken up at 5.30. Hook on back of bathroom door is needed as well as in the room to hang up coats etc. After making us our delicous breakfast, the lovely hostess left the house without saying goodbye or thanking us for staying. Stepping out of the room to go down to breakfast is dangerous. The top of the stairs is in the dark and there was a big step down from the room level. There is a sensor light but it doesn't illuminate the alcove where the bedroom door opens to. Agnes must put a light at the top of the staircase. It was a bit noisy early in the morning from downstairs happenings.

Location and cleanliness of bathroom

Intercom was not working at gate and left us stranded for more than 10 minutes, there was no key for the inside door nor any burglar bars, nor hairdryer, hence the reason why we did not stay the night.

We had a good 1 night stay. Agnes was an absolute darling, she really takes care of her guests and the breakfast she made us was really good :)

It would be nice if there were toiletries in the bathroom and maybe some water in the fridge

There was no fans and no coffee or tea. The tv remote was not working.

It was a bed that we could put our heads down for the night.

Check in was at 14h00 we arrived after 16h00 and had to wait for towels to be put in the room. There were no hand towels. When we got their 2 of, the unit's electricity was off. There was only normal soap in the shower, which is very un-hygienic because other guests have used it before you. The lighting was extremely poor in the room, plugs too far away from mirrors to do hair and make-up. No air freshener in toilets and limited toilet paper.
