Canon Craig, Luxurious Lakeland stone Cottage

Great location. A minute away from the charming village of Bowness-On-Windermere. The village had some lovely shops to explore and restaurants with great views. The wharf for cruises and the car ferry was close by.

Beautiful place we all loved it.

The property was very well equipped for our short stay. Lots of attention to detail. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable

Lovely, good quality, self-catering accommodation close to the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, within walking distance of a variety of good restaurants and the lake itself.

Parking in the street is not guaranteed, although it is usually possible to find some. Wi-fi connection is not very good, but that seems to apply generally in the Lake District. No space to sit outside (no garden), however, we were mostly out and about. Note that the third bedroom has a bunk bed, not twin or double.

The design and the setup looks exactly like what is shown on the pictures. Location is very convenient with free parking right in front of the door.

Two bathrooms but only one shower.

Very well appointed, comfortable accommodation in an ideal spot for nearby restaurants in Bowness. Highly recommended.
