Canon Craig, Luxurious Lakeland stone Cottage

Prime location to Bowness centre and we were able to park on the road outside, it looked to get quite busy but there were lots of spaces available further up if needed. We parked up for the weekend and walked in and out of Bowness every day, lots of choices of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Plenty of buses and boats to Windermere and Ambleside. Beautifully decorated home with some many lovely details and furniture. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The house was perfect for us as a couple but we would definitely come back again as a family with our two children. Owners left a lovely manual with all the info we needed and there was the option to message if any issues (we didn’t have any).

It’s beautifully decorated, inviting and cosy ! We felt very much at home … host are responsive and fully had all the amenities. Really very comfortable staying here. Location was great !

Parking isn’t a given due to on street parking. Could be in a position of parking down the road. Worked out ok for us, but don’t mind parking down the road.

House was amazing and very clean. Great location. Very comfort stay.

It was a beautiful and luxurious house with almost everything you need in it.

One of the double bed room was a bit small. There was no sponge to wash dishes by hand. And also the washroom locks were getting jammed a bit.
