Canon Craig, Luxurious Lakeland stone Cottage

Just that the property has 1 shower/bathroom and 1 powder room (toilet without bath or shower) instead of 2 bathrooms. Parking was a challenge but manageable. These should not be issues for you to choose such a wonderful place.

Accommodation was spotless and very high spec everything there that was needed. Also it was just around the corner from the high street in Bowness and all restaurants, bars etc., all within walking distance. Parking was ok for us as we were able to find spaces in the road when we needed them. Immediately outside of the accommodation there are double yellow lines so you can load and unload outside , but then need to find a space elsewhere in the road.

Good location. Well priced. Very well furnished. Decorated and finished to a high standard. Spotlessly clean with great facilities. Accommodating hosts. It always helps to feel at home within a property as it makes your trip that little bit more enjoyably and we definitely felt that with this property. I’d be very surprised if anyone booked here and felt let down.

Beautiful and tastefully decorated! Good location. Particularly liked the games cupboard and wide range of appliances.

Nothing! Only thing I would say is we couldn’t find the instructions for any of the appliances (a quick google solved my problem)

Everything about the property is supeh - location, the way the property has been configured and soft furnishings. The property has been tastefully decorated and is very well equipped. One small suggestion is that a shelf or small unit in the second and third bedrooms would be helpful. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend Canon Craig

The location and overall decor of the cottage. It was warm and cosy and very welcoming.

In all this property is beautiful . Really nicely equipped . Loved the size of the tv and the beds are so comfortable . Really clean everywhere . Loved the decor and all the mod cons . Lovely place. Fantastic location .

Parking is a problem . We had to park quite a distance away from the property and it took a while to find any parking. We had problems accessing Netflix so couldn’t use it which was disappointing. Seating in living room not the most comfortable yet looks lovely . A mirror is needed on the dressing table in the master bedroom as the wall mirror is too far away from the plug socket to use the hairdryer .

What a beautiful cottage, we stayed for two nights before my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.. lovely spacious downstairs for getting ready with my wedding party, thank you so much!

Only criticism would be for some drawers or something in the 2 smaller bedrooms.. not an issue for us but would have been a challenge if we were having a longer stay
