Beach house in Oriental Parade

Location - nice area to stay on - waterfront view - close to city centre and wharf

We thought we had booked a 3 bedroom and ended up with a 2 bedroom. The fold down bed was not comfortable. The blankets for the extra bedding were old. Scratchy woolen blankets. We paid for 5 guests and only had 4 towels available. Luckily one of us had brought their own towel.

Stunning beautiful location, very homely has everything you need and more. Communication with the owner is exceptional. Front water views are breath taking!

The only good thing about this place is its location. In saying that you have to be ok with general traffic noise.

This place was not at all the standard you would expect of an Airbnb. So dirty, mouldy and huge cobwebs. We had to wash a couple of glasses that had lipstick on them with just our hands and dry with paper towels as the dish brush was filthy with hair and other gunk in it and the tea towel so thin and stained we didn't want to risk it. We asked for the listed sofa bed to have bedding provided. Turns out the sofa isn't a sofa bed and they provided a single roll away that was so hard and uncomfortable that one person had to sleep on the sofa anyway. The sheets provided for the roll away were holey and thin. We literally stayed out as much as we could to avoid being here. I had read the negative reviews before booking but foolishly hoped they had acted in these and improved things. Oh and no working smoke alarms and the xpelair above the dirty oven is not attached to the wall let alone ducted to the outside. Crazy.

The beds were very comfortable and the sea view s were great.

One facecloth for two adults and a white hand towel with what looked like mould stain. A broom,brush and pan would be good so you can leave the place as clean as you got

First of all no parking unless you pay extra $25 per night, shower was filthy, bathroom stinks of urine, pull out couch has rotten smelly sheet, extra bedding smells. All dish’s needed washing

Fabulous location. Lovely to have beach across the road and lovely walk into town etc. The apartment was simple but good with 2 bedrooms and spare bed if you needed it, washing machine, drier..

Would have been nice to have a spare towel or two and /or more than one scoop of washing powder for a 5 day stint.
