Zebula Golf Estate and Spa Private Collection

We paid an exorbitant amount of money for 2 nights stay. The 1st night was fine. The following morning the power and water were cut off with no indication of when it will return . No back up plan or assistance from the management. We spent the entire day with no shower, cooked meal, toilets that could not be flushed. We had booked a game drive at an exorbitant rate which was complete waste as the only animals on the property was buck, zebras and giraffes. At 7pm it was obvious the power and water was not returning so we checked out as we could not stay in the bush in complete darkness and no water. Our food was starting to go bad. I have requested a refund for the one night but nobody gets back to me despite numerous phone calls. Worst trip of my life and most embarrassing as i was entertaining family from overseas.

Location is perfect. Staff is very friendly. Good for couple retreat and family bonding. A home away from home. They have a dedicated cleaner and maintenance guys. Loadshedding is covered for 48 hours, so u don't have to worry about loadshedding. Very big and open. Very clean. Uncapped WiFi. All dstv channels. Amazing place. Water was hot all the time. All rooms had working air-conditioning. All rooms have ensuite bathroom and shower. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Private Jacuzzi available. Gas stove and gas braai incase there's no power. Pool table in the house.

Nothing much. The park have all animals except the big 5. Which is not a big issue for me.

Breakfast was not included, it was delicious for R500.

Room needs a revamp, smart tv and new appliances. The bath plug was also not functional. Otherwise excellent

During the night without escort it was no easy to get, you hav to drive back to reception to drop the key in the morning,

No coffee in the room. The Tv is not working, and the nabours partied till 3 o'clock

The small add on chalet that we stayed in was nothing like any of the pictures on the website. The kitchen cupboards were falling off the hinges and the bathroom tap did not work. No effort was made to make the property look homely. The stack doors were unable to open. The BBQ facilities were shared with another unit rightnext to the chalet.
