Jinrae Lee's Traditional House

This is a very great opportunity to stay in a proper hanok house and experience it. The locations is beautiful and peaceful, the owner is the most approachable and friendly owner we've ever experienced. The house is very comfortable and we had one of our best rest during the trip.

Great place, very original hotel. The hostess was very welcoming. Despite the fact that the toilet is in a separate building, we were very comfortable and did not want to leave.

We liked everything, but you have to take into account that this is a traditional house, so instead of a bed there are only mattresses.

It is so cute and historic, idilic location. Also very high quality amenities in the bathroom and in the room. Green tea was amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks trip in Korea! An old traditional Hanok, beautifully renovated. Very comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 4. Very comfortable futon beds. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped. As other reviews mentioned, the bathroom is not in the room but outside. It is not a shared bathroom. Each room has its own bathroom. The host was lovely. She was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. She loves cats, so there are a lot of cute cats around. It might be easier to have a rental car as it is out in a small village. Many nice restaurants not too far away (not walking distance though). If you want to experience staying in a traditional Hanok, this is the place! You won’t be disappointed!

Something very special and unique. It’s back into the past, but definitely more comfortable:)

There is one small request: you should have a small AC in the separate bathroom!!!! During our stay it was maybe 50 degrees in the bath and it was senseless to take a shower, because you were sweating like hell one second later. But only during the hot season, of cause.

The area is rural so it’s best to have a car. We didn’t and the hosts went above and beyond for us. They helped us figure out bus schedules and routes and drove us to the station. Unbelievably kind people. Keep in mind this is a traditional hanok so you’re basically sleeping on the floor. Takes some getting used to but we slept well and I never had any aches when getting up. Bathrooms are clean, modern, and well stocked. And the bedrooms are air conditioned.
