Jinrae Lee's Traditional House

Location in the country. Wonderful place. So nice host, warm welcome, many cute cats. We unfortunately arrived later than what we wanted and did not have the time to walk around. We did it in the morning (under the rain :), but host gave us umbrella to help) Real traditional village, quiet, authentic. I LOVED it, and regret not to stay 1 or 2 more days.

We had a lovely stay in this traditional house! The host was lovely and provided delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean, with underfloor heating. Overall the stay was comfortable, but you should expect a traditional bed (futon)! We initially considered traveling by train, but decided to rent a car instead - with hindsight, this was the best way to go, especially if you want to travel to nearby attractions (e.g. tea plants) or restaurants. The surroundings are lovely and super calm.

The best stay we had through our whole journey! We had the best, most caring hosts that feed us delicious food, drove us around and vere simply the best. A true experience in a traditional place that is worth every penny.

Amazing hosts! They took great care of us, drove us to dinner, nearby tea fields, even the bus station. Very friendly and also spoke in English which was a blessing. Rooms were tidy and had tea set that we could use any time. For breakfast we were served delicious traditional meals. Would rate 12/10.

The hostess is absolutely lovely and spoke English. She, unexpectedly, brought us a delicious small breakfast. The house is stunning. The room was spacious and clean. It has a lovely traditional seating area. Tea, coffee, and some small chocolates were provided. There was a fridge with a few water bottles in it. The large TV felt a bit out of place in the traditional setting, but I guess it is a to have for some guests. The bathroom is in another building. You have a bathroom to yourself and the bathroom is modern, clean and warm. We were in November and the temperatures dropped to 2 degrees celcius at night. Nevertheless the room was warm thanks to the floor heating.

Nothing. You just need to know how to get there. If you navigate to the house the navigation will tell you that you have arrived, but it won't navigate you to the actual place to park. When you are on the road you should see a small pond on your right. Behind the pond is the house and the parking space. Continue on the small road with the pond on your right. Turn right at the end of this road and then take the first right again onto a small reddish road. Then you will reach a place to park your car.

Difficult to get to without a locals help and a car for transport. But once you are there; the house is amazing, brings you back in time. Definitely recommend!
