We think this is one of the coziest guest houses in South Africa. It’s fully furnished with vintage furniture and decoration and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed. De Kunst Huisje is located on a quiet street, and you can park safely on the premises. The owner, Julien, and her team are very friendly and welcoming. We’d love to come back.

The antiques.The quietness and the open dining area

The room was lovely and spacious. The staff were warm and welcoming.

Breakfast was rather disappointing and not good value for money. Eggs were over cooked even though I ordered soft and the pork sausage was sour. The Cornflakes were also stale and chewy. Just couldn’t eat it.
