We loved every second of our stay at The World Backwaters. We stayed in a Lake View Cottage which was idyllic and all of the staff were amazing and so helpful. We'd booked our stay as a chill out following touring other areas in India and loved it so much. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and very peaceful. A lot of the time it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. While we were there we had spa treatments, attended cookery demos, took a boat ride on the lake, kayaked and walked around the local village. All were so enjoyable.

"Relaxed stay on the lakeside"

Location on the Lakeside was idyllic. We booked half board - food provided was plentiful and good quality (buffet and fixed menu) Staff were all attentive and helpful, arranging taxis etc. Site was licensed for drinks by the lake, in the restaurant or in a separate bar.

Everything was perfect, from the beautiful and serene scenery to the attentive staff and the cleanliness of the accomodation. Everything was well taken care of, we never lacked anything and it was always taken care of immediately. We enjoyed to the max!
