We loved everything about accommodation. Sue is such a welcoming and friendly person . So many extra little touches including a lovely welcome basket , fruit and little chocolates in a keepsake bag . Loved it .

Lovely host. Went above and beyond. Comfy home, great facilities. Spacious. The host left us treats which was a lovely touch.

More a tip for others- take change for parking - only £5 for 24 hours.

We felt so lucky to have the comfort of a large, spacious apartment at such a reasonable rate. Easy all-night parking was great. Lovely friendly welcome and unbelievable kindness to mail a vital thing we left behind. Access to town was quick and easy - near enough not to have to bother with awkward car parks. The apartment is quiet, the kitchen has everything you need and the big fish is a joy. - I think he liked me as he spent ages gazing at me.

Low seats difficult for us oldies. We didn't master the TV controls properly (but we didn't ask for help!). The steps up to the road were a challenge for my old legs but so worth it.

I highly recommended The Old Laundry for your next stay in Rye. It was extremely clean & comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. Sue went above and beyond from the welcome basket, fresh fruit, dairy products, books, Streaming channels, bathrobes etc. Everything you need. Accommodation was an easy walk into town. Safe & quiet.

"A warm and wonderful home stay in Rye"

You actually got a complete one-bedroom apartment at the lower level of an old house. It is within 15 walking distance to most of the attractions and restaurants. The host Sue was very nice and helpful. She provided some extra for an enjoyable stay.
