Black Sand Camp

Staying at the Black Sand Camp in the Omani desert was an absolutely unforgettable experience. We booked two nights. The atmosphere of the camp is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by stunning desert landscapes and beautiful silence. The tents were comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious and freshly prepared. A very special thanks goes to Lenin. He is truly a great guy — warm, friendly, and always attentive. He took care of us from the moment we arrived, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. If you are looking for a unique and authentic desert experience, I can highly recommend the Black Sand Camp.

Very nice Camp in the dunes. Very good plentyful Dinner and Breakfast. Highly recomended! Very friendly people, always helpful. Had a bonfire at night. Ask for the Meeting point, otherwise it is dificult to find!

Struttura bellissima, con molta scelta di attività da praticare nel deserto. Lo staff è estremamente gentile e si prende cura degli ospiti facendo loro provare la migliore ospitalità locale. Very friendly camp keeper The wonderfull tent

The dome was definitely a good idea, we regretted that we only took one night! The camp is on the more calm side of the desert, which is cleaner with less lights so you can enjoy the desert better. We were warmly welcomed and received by our host. He prepared coffee when we arrived and we enjoyed doing sand boarding at sunset! The equipment in the dome are also really good, shower a bit cold in the evening but everything else was perfect

Small plastic smells when we entered the room

Everything was very good, we were alone so it was very peaceful. The staff it’s amazing. Very recommended place to disconnect from the big cities.

The bad thing of the property it’s that to go there you need a 4x4. If you ask to the owner for a ride they will charge you a lot for a 5 min drive through the desert. Just the rides were more expensive than our stay. It was a scam.
