Stay with Robin

A very warm welcome from our hosts (and cat). Peaceful rural location with geese and deer in view.

No tea making facility in room although our hosts were happy to provide drinks upon request.

A charming cottage in a quiet area. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the bed was good. Robin and Marie were very welcoming and made us feel like at home. Robin provided tips on walks and things to do in the area. We opted to have dinner with our hosts, and they prepared a lovely meal for us (they even made a special meal for me because I don't eat chicken). Their cat Rosie was a little darling. There were also turkeys, geese and chickens in the garden.

Made to order and freshly cooked - excellent.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been great.

Stunning building and gardens

Diese Unterkunft liegt allein in einer sehr schönen Waldrandlage mit gepflegtem Garten und eigenem Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Das sehr gute Frühstück wird an den Wünschen des Gastes ausgerichtet und auf Vorbestellung wird auch ein Abendessen zubereitet. Uns gefiel besonders die Idyllische Lage und die charmante Kommunikation der Besitzer. Zu erwähnen ist auch der in unmittelbarer Nähe liegende, wunderbare Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden.

Robin’s place is a gorgeous welcoming home in the lovely surrounds of Surrey with plentiful birdlife amongst the woodlands and beautiful gardens. Robin is such a charming character, a raconteur with endless stories of his colourful life- and with Marie and her mediterranean influence in the lounge and kitchen- you can have an evening far removed from the average bland hotel experience ! We took up the ‘candlelit dinner’ option and enjoyed a very tasty home cooked meal with added conversation and laughs . The breakfast was equally excellent. The internet was not the best but we didn’t miss it as we were too busy being in the moment !

The intermittent internet made checkins and travel business a little bumpy

Frühstück im Garten eines bezaubernden Cottage. Robin kocht gerne, das Frühstück war sehr lecker, Tomaten aus dem Garten, die Wurst und die Eier von den eigenen Tieren.

Man hört leider die Gastgeber nachts auf dem Weg zur Toilette. Ansonsten das ein oder andere Flugzeug und viel Ruhe.

Great breakfast. Lovely location.

I thought there would be a TV and coffee-making facilities in the room. But it did not matter.
