Lovely house great and central would just say not suitable for 4 people perfect for 2 or 2 and 1 child

The location was great close to the centre so perfect for shopping and a nice walk to the walls

The bed is very hard to sleep on so did have a sore back most of the week, the beer garden from the pub next door looks right into the bedroom it’s a stone throw away so had to have blinds closed and windows closed at all times, during the week of a heatwave and no air circulating made it far too warm and uncomfortable to be in

Clean, well presented property fairly close to city with parking

A small issue with noise since it was so hot we had to have a lot of windows open. Not much to be done about it though just nature of location/weather

The property was clean and comfortable and well located, it was small but was plenty for two of us and had everything we needed. There were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby as well as a large supermarket around the corner. The centre of York was a short stroll away. On site parking was also a plus.

It seemed that the tv could only be viewed if you had your own streaming account, we couldn’t watch free to air. Also contact over the weekend was non existent. We were provided with an alternative contact should we really need it but our queries were not important enough, we just wanted some local information.

It was compact and ideal for our stay. An easy walk to York centre .

Perfect location

Loose toilet seat and bed mattress very hard

Location is excellent for walking into the city and the free parking makes it even better.

A microwave would be good but nothing else I would change.

Fabulous location just 2 minutes walk outside the city walls. Nicely decorated, warm, cosy space, which was well equipped. The accommodation is part of a conversion, so you can hear other people moving around, coming in and out. Also, it backs onto a pub garden, so there is the associated noise that goes with that. But it was a perfect spot to explore the city, safe and accessible with a convenient bus stop direct from the station at the pub.
