Good location and comfortable

The space was great, nice little lounge and kitchen area which was good for prepping food. Shower was a good space as well. It was a cosy space within a 10 min walk to the city centre so perfect for that. As well as shops nearby to pick up anything.

The biggest negative was the bed, this definitely needs changing in future as it is rock solid, it’s so thin, I would only really stay here again if the mattress was changed over, you won’t get a good nights sleep here, the light in the room was another issue, blinds need adding to glass at the front. The shower was a good space but the pressure of the shower was weak so didn’t feel like we could wash properly. The noise is also an issue with upstairs and outside noise constantly, I know this isn’t the owners fault due to the area but something to consider before booking.

Location and facilities were adequately suitable for a weekend stay

The bed was very hard, and the temperature in the house was abit too hot for us.

Really good location with the bonus of on-site parking, 10 mins walk from the city centre. Lots of local options for eating, drinking and supermarkets.

I had read previous reviews about the light coming through the door window and noise from neighbouring properties/vehicles so went prepared with eye mask and earplugs. I’m also an early riser so wasn’t so much of an issue for me but a curtain across the door would help with the light issue.

Excellent location near York Centre, with dedicated free parking. Accommodation very clean

We felt it was missing a few items - microwave, bedside lamp, non-slip shower mat, coat hooks.

The property was very close to the city, pet friendly and clean.

The noise from next door unsettled my dog early hours in the morning. I would also have liked to be have known about the additional cleaning fee of £25 before I made the booking. I feel this should have been e been included in the original price I paid for the apartment especially since I made it clear I was bringing a pet when I made the booking.

It was a fab location, very clean and comfortable.

There was a lot of noise from the flat above on the first night of our stay so we didn't get a lot of sleep but this was not in any way a fault of the host.

Great location and modern furnishings

The bed was extremely uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep well. Also next to the door there is frosted glass which let lots of light through, and there were lights from the pub (not owners fault) which meant it was very light during the night. A blind would be ideal to stop the light from coming through.
