Blue Bell Hotel

Superb staff and lovely welcoming atmosphere, breakfasts are amazing and the garden out the back was peaceful. Good selection of ales in the bar too.

Nothing at all

The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our breakfast and evening meals were tasty. It was a good base for visiting Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. There is also an amazing chip shop around the corner called John Dory's. Very reasonable and gorgeous food

We stayed in an annexe to the hotel. The door didn't fit properly and there was a big gap at the bottom, making the room quite chilly. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't reach.

It was lovely but staff were run of there feet. Not their fault the staff was helpful and polite even though they were so busy. We've been before but it was more relaxed. Staff had to adapt to various jobs I noticed this time. Superb dinner and breakfast and relaxing.

Whilst B&B and dinner good value the price of a pint and wine were OTT. Hotel was full but bar was empty

Great location for the walking and for driving to Lindisfarne. Friendly staff. Good value

Although it was a double room there was only one chair in the room. Breakfast on our first morning took far too long to arrive - we decided to abandon it although it then arrived . At the evening meal it was difficult to attract the attention of the staff - the placed seemed very understaffed.
