Blue Bell Hotel

Lovely hotel. Welcoming. Staff and locals. Can’t fault it.

Nothing to dislike.

Pleasant location in Belford village square, with little shops and large Co-op just around the corner. Only few miles to causeway crossing to Holy Island or alternatively beautiful seaside villages of Bamburgh, Craster & Seahouses. The Blue Bell is a lovely old inn (shabby chic) with bar & restaurant (well presented & tasty vegan burger, chips & salad) The back garden is ideal for enjoying a drink in the summer weather, particularly when travelling with a dog 😊. Earlier reviews mentioned staff shortage and waiting times, but we did not experience this. Andrew is a multi tasking superstar but, we found all staff very friendly and helpful on our 2 night stay!

Nothing - very good considering price!

This hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of an interesting Town. The staff are really helpful and the rooms are full of character although some attention could be given to the plumbing the breakfast was excellent as well as the evening meal.

Some people may not like the fact that it is old-fashioned, although that is part of its charm

Clean, lovely location, full English available for breakfast. Kind staff. Room was fresh and had a nice window. Garden at back was beautiful.

Everything was a little old. In need of some TLC albeit everything was clean and smelt fresh

This property has really improved and will likely stay again. Breakfast was very good and bar was nice. Staff tried very hard but they had some new ones who did not quite know what to do.

I booked two rooms which were supposed to have 4 beds but was given one twin and one double so had to help the useful staff person to move a bed!! We were asked to sit in the bar for breakfast not the restaurant and once a table came through we should have been told we can move to better chairs.

Large garden, very quiet and spaciousbroom, great breakfast, very friendly end helpful staff, delicious dinner. There was also a safe space to store the bicycles.

It took quite a while to get warm water out of the shower.

Fantastic choice for breakfast, Good evening meal.

The Creaky floorboards in our room, But it was builta Few Decades ago,,

Exceptionally good bacon sandwich. However due to a problem in the kitchen no full breakfasts were available
