Excellent breakfast. Dinner enjoyable. Excellent value. Joseph worked very hard as receptionist, waiter, general fixer.

A little tired. Heating not working when we arrived, but by morning it was scorching!

Village location was great and the hotel had a cracking garden area to the rear.

The room hadn’t been cleaned, after 40 minute wait finally got moved to a different room, which was clean but tired. Breakfast service limited as apparently the gas was down, so cold buffet only.

Andy in charge on the night could have not been any better. He was so understanding and very sorry that I was let down big time.

Ordered 3 rooms with each having 3 single beds in each room. I only got the 1 room with 3 single beds, the other 2 rooms were wrong. I even emailed them straight away after booking these rooms well in advance before my arrival to confirm my wishes, to which I got a reply yes it was all noted and agreed. But on the day it was not to be and it was fully booked. Total disaster.

The staff were polite, apologetic and overworked. There is a good pub across the road (The black swan) where we managed to get an evening meal.

The hotel is badly managed and run down. The kitchen was closed ( for cleaning?) pn the day we arrived and although we had booked a table they didn't bother to contact us. The room needs repairs and refurbishment, e.g.mould in the bathroom, radiators that can't be turned off and broken sash windows that don't stay open. We waited around 40 minutes for a cooked breakfast and eventually left without it.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Excellent value for money and breakfast was great and included.

The shower wasnt very good and the water was luke warm. Apart from that we had a good stay.

Shower lacked power and warmth and no kitchen service when we stayed, opposite pub full as a result so we had to drive elsewhere to get some dinner
