"Real slice of comfortable, “old-school” charm."

You would struggle to meet hosts as openly and justifiably proud of what they’ve created: a genuinely warm welcome to a revitalised slice of local history; super-comfy, laid-back surrounds, and; hearty breakfast.

It’s in the country, so it’s dark when you’re trying to find it.

"I look forward to staying here again"

Large property with excellent hosts. Room had a homely feel about it and if you like cats (I do) you will soon be introduced to the extra staff. Breakfast was hearty and kept me going for the rest of ther day. Location is just out of town so is nice and quiet (just what you need after a hard day). I will add this to my places of " must stay there again" list

Breakfast was exceptional, owners were so welcoming and couldn’t do more than enough for us, the history of the property and their premises is fantastic. Bathroom was clean

I would have liked fresh air in the room but couldn’t open the window
