Peaceful fabulous

I was met as soon as I arrived, a pot of coffee produced and the conversation flowed. The house is wonderful , quirky artefacts galore. Including the bathroom! I had a great night's sleep and was treated to a feast of a breakfast, after which Rob showed me around the grounds, including the walled garden which was his current pursuit. I could easily have spent all day wandering around.

Tons of character.. Very nice and interesting couple.

Comfortable bed and breakfast with lovely hosts.

Rob and Nicola were great hosts even though we were a very last minute booking. Tea upon arrival and help with a nearby dinner reservation. They have done remarkable things with an interesting and historic property. Comfortable room and very tasty breakfast.

The location is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the slight diversion from our planned route.

The old rectory is an amazing property and Robert and Nicola were wonderful hosts. If you are looking for accommodation with character that is full of history and interest then this is the place for you. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and their love for The Rectory is obvious.
