Te Anau Cottage

A very homely and welcoming place, well equipped with everything we needed. The host was kind and attentive, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great stay.

Very spacious and comfortable cottage after spending days exploring Fiordland. The kitchen was well stocked for dinners and lunchs. Plenty of room for a couple to spread out. Having access to the yard to chill in the sun was really nice. Less than 5 minute drive to Te Anau city center. Very helpful hosts and super friendly dogs :)

Explanation to use the oven and the air conditioning could have been clearer on the document provided inside the cottage.

Te Anau Cottage is absolutely outstanding and one of the best places we’ve stayed. Perfectly located just out of town, it offers peace and quiet while still being only minutes from Te Anau’s amenities – the best of both worlds. The cottage itself is immaculate: beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. Everything you could possibly need has been thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a true home away from home rather than just holiday accommodation. The views are a real highlight – looking across the garden to open pasture with mountains beyond is simply lovely and adds to the sense of calm and space. Diana was an excellent host: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring about our stay without ever being intrusive. Communication was clear and friendly from start to finish. This is a must-stay location for anyone visiting Te Anau. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend it without reservation.

A very neat and comfortable older style cottage that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly loved the picture window outlook over the main properties spring garden over a drystone wall to a paddock with a few sheep peacefully grazing. Lovely green vista and much nicer than staying in town. Hosts were lovely and we'd be happy to stay there again!

Hier war alles perfekt - großes Lob an die Vermieter! Tolle Ausstattung, schnelles Internet, tolle Sicht in den schönen Garten, zwei sehr liebe Hunde und tolle freundliche Gastgeber! Sehr zu empfehlen!
