Te Anau Cottage

Was just here for a night but had a very comfortable night. It is a distance from the Town which is what I wanted away from the bustling. It is very private and spacious. Good for packing your luggage to prepare for overnight cruises. It was easy to check in too.

A delightful stay in the cutest country cottage around 5kms from Te Anau. Very peaceful and quiet location. Thoughtful hosts who left fresh eggs and a good supply of milk for our stay. Comfy bed, plenty of hot water and a good shower - what more could anyone ask for? Oh yes, a comfortable chair or settee to relax in after a busy day exploring Milford and Doubtful Sounds. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely nothing to dislike, but a heated towel rail would have been the icing on the cake!

The cabin was very comfortable, a little home away from home! Our hosts thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The surrounds were beautifully landscaped with trees & flowers & dogs were entertaining. Very peaceful ☺️

Felt like home away from home. The oven and cooking facilities was amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! We slept so so so well, which was what we needed after a tough hike!

That we couldn’t stay for longer :(

The fact this property is a little way out of town, was ideal and exactly what we're looking for. The outside of the property was beautifully taken care of and our welcome by the dogs was an added bonus. The inside of the unit was well appointed and lovely and clean. A wonderful place to relax. Our hosts went over and beyond in in taking care of us in the middle of a region-wide power cut for our last 24 hours. They provided us with a generator, water and torches for the night to ensure we were warm. They were also able to provide petrol (paid for) as all the town pumps were not working and we needed it to travel to our next destination! Such lovely people! We look forward to returning in the future.

The cottage was clean, cosy and very comfortable! Loved the privacy and how peaceful it was.
