A beautiful, hidden place, full of peace and quiet. Very close to a lovely beach with a cafe, and on the other side to the mountains. The owners are friendly and cheerful.

The location was idyllic and very unique. Beach 5mins drive away, village and a mountain all on your doorstep. Right next to farmland provided an old world feel. The true Cumbrian experience. The decor was splendid. The room doors were like horse stable doors and the bathroom and decor was very tasteful and luxurious. You know you're on a farm. Gorgeous touch. Bedroom was surrounded by breathtaking views of the rolling hills, towering fell and farmland and English countryside. Guests were absolutely amazing and allowed privacy and option to be undisturbed yet resided just in the next building had we needed them. Superfast WiFi and books and OS Maps to help plan the time in the Lakes. The guesthouse provided a quiet place to getaway with only 2 guest floors so you feel like you've got the place to yourself. On site parking was a pleasure. Overall one of the best places ive stayed in the lakes. Worth every penny and run by a lovely couple with their kids and dogs 🐕 highly recommend for a quiet, private, beautiful and impressionable stay.

Nothing to dislike. The road for the driveway to the farm is not smooth tarmac so just need to drive carefully and take your time. My big car with little wheels managed fine though.

It is close to great walks we took our cats with us on leads, the area was beautiful you have the mountains right outside your window and an hour walk away is the beach so all in all pretty perfect and our cats enjoyed it, the hosts were very friendly and super helpful. We will absolutely be back.

The bath! The location. The hosts. The perfect place for a little weekend escape and impeccable value for money.

Since the lakes is quite humid I unfortunately didn’t feel totally dry the whole time. And the mattress was slightly soft for me!
