Amazing view. Nice breakfast. Host was really nice and helpful and not too pushy.

Far up the mountain. But the view is worth it 10/10

I had a wonderfull stay. Mahesh and his family made for a very welcoming stay. The sight from the room is absolutely stunning with monkeys and chipmonks nearby and the breakfast was tasty every day.

The view was absolutely stunning but that also means it is a bit of a walk up from the road. A small thing if you’re young but I can see it being difficult if you are elderly or if you have mobility issues.

Superbe accueil. Nous avons été récupéré en Tuk-tuk à la gare de Ella. Le lendemain Mahesh nous a fait visiter les points d’intérêt de Ella, en nous attendant à chaque fois. Il nous également arrangé un taxi pour Arugam Bay. Je recommande les yeux fermés, la vue est a coupé de souffle, pour un prix vraiment intéressant !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Helly Mount Inn in Ella. Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft, man kann stundenlang hinausschauen und die Natur genießen. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren unglaublich lecker, frisch zubereitet und mit viel Liebe serviert. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft: Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, sodass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

La vue est magnifique, Mahesh et sa famille sont très accueillant, leur petit déjeuner et leur plats étaient très bons.

Ausflug Tucktuck 1 Tag wir haben alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gesehen, war so ein toller Tag. Besitzer war so freundlich und hat uns immer bei allem geholfen und uns auch immer abgeholt und uns gute Tipps gegeben. Man fühlt sich bei seiner Familie sehr wilkommen und wohl. Essen war auch immer sehr gut. Der Ausblick von unserem Zimmer war auch mega schön

Bardzo pomocny i miły właściciel oraz jego rodzina. Bardzo dobrze troszczą się o gości o każdej porze i łatwo jest się skontaktować przez whatsapp. Rodzina posiada tuk tuk i auto przez co istnieje możliwość dodatkowych wycieczek. Jedzenie było dobre. Piękny widok z tarasiku (można zaobserwować zwierzęta). Dobre wi-fi. Był wiatrak i moskitiera.

Brak możliwości korzystania z ciepłej wody z uwagi na bardzo nieprzyjemny zapach i niskie ciśnienie. Z zimną wodą nie było problemu. Ściany wymagają odświeżenia.

I loved my stay at helly mount inn. The host and his family were so kind and made my stay so special. He gave me the whole tour of Ella on his tuktuk, even spent time walking around with me explaining and teaching me about everything. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka! I also have to mention the view from the room, it’s so beautiful and sunrise each morning was the best. I hope to come back and stay again some time ☺️

The helly mount inn brings you directly into the jungle of ella mountains, it has one of the best views i’ve ever seen in sri lanka , also the sunrise is amazing you can enjoy it while monkeys cross path trough the trees , and just because of that i knew i made the right choice to come here, the room is clean , the bed is nice , it also had boiler for tea, the bathroom has everything you need. The terrace with the breakfast are amazing. And mahesh (host) is a great guy , he arranged us a whole Tour of a day to all the attraction close to ella , from monastery to the waterfalls , nine arches bridge etc. He also did all of these with us without taking a little break or a sip of water ( very impressing)😂 ! He can also be your personal tuktuk through the stay at ella at a cheaper price usually found in ella. I really recommend it.

Maybe the path to reach the room was something unexpected but after the first time you get used to it. is actually nice to go trough the nature. In case you don’t like to do it by yourself, the host has always been available to come and pick us up from the start to finish so was never an issue. The hot water in the bathroom does not last long but it is not an issue if you don’t get long showers.

De locatie is prachtig! Hoog op een berg waardoor je ‘s ochtends een perfect uitzicht hebt op de zonsopkomst. De eigenaar is vriendelijk. Kon ons met zijn Tuktuk naar verschillende plekken brengen. De slaapkamer en badkamer zijn groot. Het ontbijt was erg lekker.

In de slaapkamer en badkamer zit schimmel op de wanden en de plafonds.
