Spacious & comfortable home in beautiful surroundings. The kids especially enjoyed spending time in the stargazing room and watching the rabbits in the garden.

"Well appointed, clean and in an ideal spot."

Well appointed and spotlessly clean. The house was ideally situated for our trips to visit parts of Hadrians wall and Kielder water. We went outside for star gazing. It was easier.

Good location for Kielder Water and Forest. Lovely welcome pack.

There weren’t really any walks from the doorstep and whilst the information on booking.com says pet friendly there are restrictions on this.

"Great Escape from it all."

Peaceful, beautiful home from home. An owl tooting, deer having a spy on us, birds singing and barely a soul in sight.. perfect for a week away from it all as a family. Our 2 teens pinched the big rooms, but we didn't mind at all, they had a great time. Great local places to eat and a fab takeaway called Reezek near the Co-op. The steak at Battlesteads Hotel was the best food we've had in a while. The owners of the house were super helpful and replied very quickly to anything we needed. Hopefully we can return some time.

"Felt cheated. The reality is not what the pictures portray"

Location

Dirty. It needs decorating throughout. Can see bare plaster through paint on walls. No caulk in skirting boards. Also not painted. We came from our lovely house to this - NOT AGAIN! Some people take your money but have no interest in investing in the thing that attracts you - Don't dream about this - its not worth it. Also, you can hear everything that next door does - move a chair, TV, radio, talking - so so loud!

Great size. Perfect for our family Christmas. Play room upstairs Great for kids.

Dont expect a quiet bath...the wall is very thin and the neighbours had the TV on very loud. Needs a bit of tlc. Chair leg loose in kitchen. Knives blunt.

A well laid out property that was clean and comfortable. The beds were very good and we all had a great sleep. The location was beautiful but you definitely need a car! The property had all that you would need for a stay.

The parking was a bit tight and you need to be careful when going on to the main road. It would have been better had I reversed up the hill.
