"Very interesting little place to stay for a couple of nights."

The hosts were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Lovely little secure garden, ideal for dogs or small children and if you need more space it's a very short walk to the local park.

"Perfectly located for the Bath and West showground"

10.0

Very unusual quirky, comfortable and cosy property, perfectly located for us to get to the Bath and West showground. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that everything was just as it should be. The big walk in shower was lovely. The bedding was perfect. The big kitchen diner made it easy to prepare our evening meals. We will come back the next time we have to be in Shepton Mallet if it isn't already booked.

"A lovely unique property at a great price in a lovely location - 10/10 would recommend."

10.0

The holiday home was exceptionally clean when we arrived, we had everything we needed provided in terms of bedding, towels, tea towel and washing up items, including washing up liquid, 3 toilet rolls provided for our 3 night stay, kitchen roll in the kitchen and all of the plates/bowls/glasses/ kitchen equipment required for a self catering stay. On top of all that, the property is decorated and equipped with a number of nostalgic items from the 50s and 60s which are lovely to look at and bring back great memories, including some retro games which were fun to play with as a family. Both bedrooms were suitable for our needs with plenty of wardrobe and hanging space if required. Location wise we were less than a 2 minute walk to a lovely park and playground area which was ideal for our 3 year old and at the time of our stay the fair was in town in the field opposite which although playing the expected funfair music etc couldn't be heard from the bedrooms at all.

The living room conservatory area could get a bit warm and stuffy as we visited in a very warm week, but by closing the blinds and cracking the windows slightly it was absolutely fine, similarly the skylight in the bedroom did mean that as soon as the sun was up the bedroom did get quite light quite early! Luckily the skylight in the 2nd bedroom had a blackout blind over it and this room was much darker so much better for our toddler!
