Appartamenti I Giardini Di Villa Melzi

The apaetment was beautiful and clean and the location so close to the bus station, walking distance to the city center. We also loved the view and the fact that the lake was right over the street from the house. The host was responsive and really nice. Great stay!

The apartment was nice, spacious and chique. It is located close to the center of Bellagio. An important plus is that it had a private parking space.

The only downside was that the walls are very thin, and we could clearly hear the sounds coming from the other apartments and from the outside.

Lovely apartment walking distance from Bellagio - parking for our car as well. Truly spacious for Europe, the bed was a bit stiff for our taste but it’s Europe and was fine. We will recommend!

What location was fine

You had to park across the street behind a chain. They were so many stairs 33 to climb up to get to our unit. There was no help that work on the property to assist you to bring things up or down except the hostess who was very nice.. We left most of our luggage in the car, and we kept going back-and-forth across the street to get things as needed. There was no couch to sit and relax at night only two chairs. It was very sparsely furnished and decorated. They gave you 1 bath, towel and other Smaller towels that was supposed to last us for 4 days. No washing machine or dryer. 1 trash bag in the kitchen. No sponge to wash the dishes, 1 dish towel.. In the bathroom the water pressure was moderate. There was no shelf or shower caddy to put your shampoo, razor etc . Everything had to be on the floor..Very awkward to work with..

The apartment was well situated for the little town of Bellagio and a level walk through the gardens, however if you aren't a fit walker it isn't for you as the route to town by road is very steep. The apartment was spacious with basic cooking facilities such as electric hob and microwave. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a sofa and book case. There is a lovely restaurant next door serving amazing meals.

The bathroom was essentially clean, however the tile grouting in the shower was very mouldy. The toilet roll holder wasn't fit for purpose The extractor fan in the bathroom was filthy. The electrics left a lot to be desired. One of the socket fronts was hanging off the wall. The plug on the toaster was wrapped in plastic tape.The only place to plug in the kettle was the TV socket, otherwise the kettle had to be plugged in on the floor. There were no electric sockets along the kitchen units. There were no English channels on the TV.

Location is perfect to go tourist area via beautiful garden which is free and private parking lot. Highly recommand it.

The location was perfect. Easy parking. A lovely walk through the gardens to get to the town. Host provided easy instructions and photos for self check in. Great restaurant next door!!!!!

Nothing to dislike.

Location, a lovely 9 min walk through the Melzi Gardens to get to Bellagio for us was perfect. Views from our apartment was lovely too. Bed very comfortable.

Unusually there was no bottled water or even tea or coffee sachets/pods available on arrival which was disappointing when arriving late in the evening. Bathroom was a bit smelly but I think that's not unusual for older properties. Sadly our apartment was a metre away from the house next door that was being redeveloped, drilling, banging and loud voices started about 7:30am every day we were there, including Sunday! I think we should have been informed that this was going to be the case when we booked.

Lovely apartment in Bellagio. Parking and entrance to Gardens a bonus! Restaurante Alle Darsene Di Loppia,next to apartment, so special. We did wine pairing and it was great.
