Appartamenti I Giardini Di Villa Melzi

Location is superb, next to Giardini di Vella Melzi, with access to garden showing your key. Apartments are basic but comfortable, rooms of good size.

Check-in is by key box and communication by text. The whole human aspect has disappeared which makes it unfortunately quite impersonal compared to previously when the owner used to be there to welcome you

The location with access to the garden Villa Melzi was great, as well as our contact person. Out of the three apartments we rented Amalia & Giuseppina were good choices.

We rented three apartments, unfortunately apartment „Dino“ was full of black mold on most walls, especially right next to the bed which made the whole stay uncomfortable. Having an apartment with a health hazard like that for rent is unacceptable.

Perfect location and lovely apartment. Martina was a lovely host- very helpful.

Up the spiral staircase is this lovely spacious and comfortable air-conditioned apartment with bathroom, sitting area, small equipped kitchen, balcony, courtyard, and car parking. Beautiful short walk through the gardens into Bellagio. We loved this location and had a beautiful 2 night stay. The restaurant next door was our favourite!

Sadly, no wifi.

Very good location. Loved having free access to the Villa Melzi Gardens. The property felt safe and it had air conditioning which was important as it was so hot while we were there. The bathroom was clean. The information booklet was extensive and gave good recommendations and information such as parking zones in Bellagio town.

The host was a bit slow to respond so we were confused about certain things (the car parking situation, for example) at times. One of our towels was completely covered in blonde hairs when we picked it up to use it (neither of us are blonde) so this was from a previous guest. The fridge smelled really bad when we opened it and it would have been nice to have some amenities in the apartment (some water maybe or some coffee) as it is quite far from any local supermarkets.

Great communications enabled easy check in and check out. Lovely location close to the lake and gardens. Really clean and well laid out.

WiFi was a bit hit and miss. The property requires a bit of a climb when you leave it, didn’t matter to us but might to others.
