Upgrades us to ‘the villa’ which was an incredible experience Beautiful surroundings and land The lion feeding was fantastic

The breakfast and lunches was sub-par for a lodge of this caliber.

This place is lovely! The rooms were much bigger than we expected, everything was clean and cozy, the facilities were very nice, and the two game drives (led by Trott) were great. Getting to see the baby black rhino was a highlight of the trip.

We received an unexpected upgrade to the Villa, which was nice as a family with small kids as it has its own little pool. The service was great and friendly. Food served during lunch and dinner was also great. The game drives were also very good, but you never know what you will see/find. ;)

We stayed during the rainy days at the end of March 2025 and the Villa was leaking on several spots when it rained heavily, partially also flooding part of the bathroom with water coming out through the wall.

As former residents of Namibia, we would say this is a good place to stay and to experience the beautiful country of Namibia. We would tell people to make sure they get a meal plan, The food is great and you can drink the water safely. The Rhino tracking is a great way to safely get close to the animals, but you will have to do some walking. The location is wonderful even in the rainy season, it was so beautiful. We would recommend that people plan to come in a 4-wheel drive vehicle if there is a lot of rain.

Beautifully situated lodge in a very large and species-rich private reserve. Excellent service, friendly staff and great support with any problems that may arise, such as getting stuck on access roads during the rainy season (experienced first hand)!

That we have to leave this special place. But, we'll come back for sure.

This lodge is a truly nostalgic and awesome place. It perfectly resembles the imagination of Africa to people who were born before 1980, provided that they have never set foot on the continent. The safari game drive with Orlando was amazing, probably the best we had in Namibia. Rooms are huge, the garden, the swimming pool, and the setting at the artificial lake are stunning. The food was good. In a nutshell, a stunning place.

This lodge is popular with tour groups. It caters to the taste of this audience, e.g. with hippos not endemic to this area and flamingos with clipped wings. Also, Okonjati Game Reserve allows hunting. That being said, we really enjoyed our stay and wished we had a second night there.
