The place was really clean, everything was working (plugs, lights, hot water, kitchen appliances), rooms were cozy, beds were comfortable, the owners were really nice and caring ! Sorry we couldn't say bye this morning and thanks again for having us !

"Extremely good sleep"

Exceptional stay again. The bed was very comfortable and facilities were great. Ken was extremely helpful and fixed a remote issue we were having promptly. Great stay, will be coming back!

"A character-full stay, with a comfy high-standard room, & the ability to self-cater is a real boon."

Slightly quirky but the room was of a good standard, immaculately clean, with plenty of little quality extras in the bathroom and kitchen; soaps, coffee pods etc. The fact there is a small self-catering kitchen was a real boon for us, and more than made up for there being no cooked brekkie option. There were plenty of cereals, jams etc provided anyway, and Ken brought us some extra fresh milk too. Though we didn't use the additional sitting area, with another TV, or the outside patio, again these are nice extras.

It was a bit cold on arrival, but Ken fetched an extra heater to help bring us up to a comfy temperature, which was more than acceptable given the lack of other guests and very high costs of fuel oil right now! Some might find the first impressions a little off-putting, there are several classic cars in various states of repair where you park, but once inside the rented accommodation, the standard of cleanliness, décor, fixtures and fittings is high.

"Comfortable modern accommodation"

The location is lovely - surrounded by woodland and on very handy as it was on our route to Skye. The decor is done to a high standard and is very tasteful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and facilities better than most stays - separate kitchen and lounge/ dining room, as well as a full sized bathroom!
