Windjammer International Cuisine & Comfort Inn

Windjammer was everything I could ever have wanted in a hotel. Beautifully picturesque, quiet, clean, comfortable, it had all of that. But most importantly, the staff were just amazing. I've never felt as much like family as we did at the windjammer - every single person went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home, and I saw them doing that for all the other guests as well. I'm not normally one to rate a place solely on the attitude of the staff, but I can tell you point blank that our trip would have been mediocre if we'd stayed at any other hotel, but *because of the windjammer staff* it was one of the best trips of my life.

It was a little far from the center of town, so we had to take taxis to get to most places, but on the other hand it was right next to the sea wall and the National Park, so that was lovely. And it was hot enough that I probably would have taken taxis most places anyway. No complaints.

The staff, particularly the night manager, Charles, were great. When our planned flight to the waterfall fell through on the first day, Charles set up a city tour for us and even rode along to serve as a guide. We stayed twice and both rooms were reasonably large and pretty clean. The AC and pool were nice for combatting the heat. The hotel is a couple blocks from the seawall where we went in the evenings for food and drink, so in that way its a pretty decent location. It is also located right next to a taxi service, which came in handy when the driver we'd prearranged to bring us to the airport failed to show up on our last morning.

The breakfast service didn't start until mid-morning so we were only able to take advantage of the free breakfast on one of the three nights we stayed there. The pool had some algae in it. Overall, the room quality was a little lower than what you might hope for given the price point, but rooms in Georgetown did seem to run a bit high at many hotels.

Perfect location for Mashramani and the sea wall. Really helpful, friendly staff. Nice finger food and drink at the poolside. Good breakfast. Effective aircon. Great price at Mash time.

Simple and pleaseant accomodation. Comfy bed, clean and excellent staff.

Breakfast starts a bit late 8:00am.
