Charming Apartment - Amazing Downtown Location

Lovely apartment, beautiful view on a garden. Fully furnished, very accessorised kitchen.

The phone number stated on Booking.com is not active. We had a problem getting in the apartment and took us ages to find a way to contact the host. Also, the messages from the host look like they are AI written, with lots of promotion of local guided tours and little attention to the actual requests. Finally, it’s common use around Europe to find some sort of provisions stored in a house, even if they are left overs, like coffee, tea, herbal tea, sugar. There was NOTHING.

Location was awesome. Too bad there was a major construction site nearby but that's not host's fault. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Presence of nearby EV charging place (DC Fast Charging and AC charging) was a great surprise!

Installing a lock in the bath/toilet would make a sense for 2br apartment. Printed version of Reykjavik's recycle/garbage sorting and collection guide would have been be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was comfortable for our family of 5. Our host checked in with us, making us feel welcome. Location was great! Parking was easy and info on parking apps helped!

Clear instructions to collect keys from lock box. Great location, but be aware of road closures due to construction (summer 2024). But on the positive side, parking on this main street was free.

There is road construction around the corner (as of summer 2024) and access to the house was a challenge using a vehicle/Google maps/GPS. Wish host had given clear instructions on how to get to the front to drop off luggage. Construction noise as early as 7am in the morning.

Great place to stay in Reykjavik. Perfect location, close to city center and Bus Stop 12 from where you have most of the bus trips. Communicative landlord and easy contactless check-in. Spacious, clean apartment with everything you need.

Great location, very spacious living room and bedrooms. Beds & bedding were super comfy.

Lack of drinks glasses in the kitchen, we ended up buying some! Could’ve done with instructions for waste disposal too.

Kitchen lacks facilities - no drink glasses ( just wine glasses), no knives. Microwave is on top of fridge, too high to reach Construction in house was disruptive (noisy at 8am when we were still sleeping) and accidentally cut off water.
