Early check in accommodated. Front of house very hospitable and knowledgeable. The room (Highclere) was exceptional. Especially the bath!

The room faced a busy road. From 6am we were kept awake with traffic noise. The TV didnt connect to Netflix on our phones (after trying for an hour we gave up). Being picky (and 8 months pregnant) I found the fish & chips to be more batter than fish, leaving me still peckish. The price of the 7oz ribeye, an eye watering £56!

"A wonderful stay."

Quiet cosy room with a fabulous shower and amenities/extras. Great location, excellent food, good quality and extremely well cooked. Staff were all friendly, attentive and very helpful. Had a wonderful 2 night stay would highly recommend. Thank you.

"One night stay for wedding"

Excellent staff who were professional and warm towards all guests. Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, stylish and beautifully decorated. Stayed for a nearby wedding and would recommend.

"Good value accommodation mid week"

Lovely modern and tastefully decorated room which has lovely touches that remind you of the original stables. Love the Cowshed products too. Staff were polite and efficient. We enjoyed drinks in the outdoor area as it was an unusually warm April day and loved our evening meal from the interesting menu. Breakfast the next morning was delicious too. I never take for granted great poached eggs when I’ve had so many bad ones over the years. They were great here. Would highly recommend for a short stay if in the area.

Some road noise as our room was the nearest to the road but it didn’t keep us awake.
