The secret garden house

A really lovely bolt hole. The garden is amazing and such a surprise how big it is ! Parking off road for 2 cars and street parking in front of the house. Rachel is really friendly and helpful when needed.

Peaceful and good feeling about the property. My friend loved the bedroom in the attic.

The shower downstairs went hot and cold during use.

Location was brilliant. Just over 5 minute taxi ride from Lincoln Central station (maybe a bit longer dring rush hour/weekends - but would hope no more than 10 minutes :)) and a 2 minute walk to the common. House was clean and there were plenty of towels and a nice supply of tea and coffee. Rooms were all made up on arival and clear instrucitons were given. Host contacted me during the stay with a reminder of check out times and other essential information.

Heating control information would have been good in the welcome book/pack. Apologies if I missed this and I could have text/called the host if it had become a real issue, but this is just been very nitpicky on my part and did not negativly impact our stay at all.

Some nice touches inside the property, lovely fireplaces, lighting downstairs

Garden needs alot of attention, no outside lighting, fence had blown down. Needs sprucing up inside, no cover on extracter fan outside so cold wind was blowing through.

Comfortable and quite cosy. Not too far from the centre. Useful for dog walking.

Booked two nights here as we had a wedding and needed dog friendly accommodation. It's a beautiful house with a lovely long enclosed garden. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. It's in a perfect location for walking into the centre and if you do take your dog there is a lovely common to walk around. The host was very informative and we would stay here again if ever in Lincoln. Thank you

I wouldn't say it was a negative ;-) but myself and my husband had to sleep in separate rooms as the beds are small and he couldn't get comfortable. If you are used to a double it's fine but we have a king-size bed at home. They are very comfortable beds and i slept really well.
