The secret garden house

No breakfast included as we were self catering, hygiene xxxxx 5 star excallent,everything included towels,toilet rolls ,cleaniing materials,digital tv was brilliant & easy to use,

having to come home so soon, steps down to front door which we didnt find out while later,( NEEDS TO BE MADE CLEARER & BEFORE BOOKING THAT THIS PROPERTY IS NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY & NOT FOR THE DISABLED) SORRY HAD TO PUT THIS OTHER THAN THIS WE HAD A EXCELLANT TIME. A after thought is maybe a small tv in one of the bedrooms as being pensoiners sometimes retire to bed early.

Space and location and parking.

The location is excellent, especially if you have a dog, with the vast expanse of West Common 100m away and Lincoln Cathedral Quarter a 20 minute walk or short drive. The house is spacious, comfortable, generally well kitted out, warm with lots of hot water, decent wifi etc. Parking is no problem, either on the pavement/road to the front and designated parking space to the rear. Excellent music system, including some great records from the 70s/80s and a eclectic collection of books too. Good supply of board games too. Opposite a business area, so the road is quiet at night.

Nothing major. A few things just need replacing/a spot of maintanence. The freezer is old and incredibly noisy. In a similar vein, the bottom door shelf was missing in the fridge. The bedroom curtains were missing a few runners and the rails need a good polish. The garden is lovely, but was in need of a good spring tidy up, as the paths were slippery and the passageway to the rear car parking area was a bit overgrown. Net curtains are probably needed in the front bedroom, as it is at street level and likewise the bathroom window looks straight out into the neighbour's kitchen and garden. Be careful when you stand up getting out of the bath or open the bedroom curtains!

Comfy and welcoming, very handy for city centre and right by a big park.

I loved the cosiness and the decor. it was warm, clean and beautiful.

no stand up shower in the bathroom upstairs . no dishwasher.
