It's expectional stay with great hosts and perfect location. Amazing food cooked by the host's mother and easiness of doing all kinds of activities made it one of the greatest stays in Malaysia. It's a perfect gateway from bustling cities. I would greatly recommend it for family with children and couples who value peace and beautiful views. We stayed there a couple of days and never got bored. We saw so many amazing underwater scenery and animals while snorkelling. Great value to price! Definitely would stay there again.

We loved everything of Tioman and of Home away. The hospitality of Cuki and his family has been great! The room was big, clean and faced to the sea. The peaceful beach was amazing, juat what we needed to forget troubles and relax. You must eat at Mama's food house, as everething was good and flavoured. Do not forget to follow their suggestions for snorkelling trip!

Everything was perfect

As it's name, Home away Tioman truly feels like home. We were given a warm welcome from Sukri. The stay was very pleasant for families with kids, the homestay is just stone away from the beach. It gives a cozy front yard with wooden seats, a swing for any occasion be it to enjoy the beach or the sunset. We went snorkeling at the reef just in front of Homeaway Tioman, we spotted black tip shark, sea turtle and clown fish. The night is quiet and good for anyone seeking for a short Island gateaway. The food from Nenek is delicious and we have most of the meals here in this humble but cosy restaurant! She has a very high standard and takes pride in her cooking!We definitely will come back again!Will miss everyone here on HomeawayTioman

The chef is an excellent cook. We had all meals here, which is just next door.

There was a weird smell in the room initially. Owner did something when we were out and it was OK when we returned.

The location is exactly as mentioned, right on the beach. The room is spacious and clean. With the restaurant (Mama's Foodhouse) next door, we had no worries about getting food. Some more it's tasty. Apparently it's well recommended by everyone and rated mostly 5* on google review. Staying at Home Away gives us priority to have a slot (pre-order) because the restaurant always busy especially for dinner. With a young daughter, it makes our life easy. Overall great stay, food and family time. Highly recommended.
