The West Highland Way Hotel and Campground Rooms and Pitches

Nice shared living room. Room was small but clean and fine for 1. Friendly staff. Food for breakfast was fine—not hot though but free!

Bathroom is downstairs and available to anyone entering the hotel whether staying inside or out (ie camping) and its quite small. When campsite is busy, could become a problem. Cafe was closed so can’t comment on cooked food.

The area and surrounding areas are beautiful.

It’s mostly suitable for those who are camping and have camper cars. Sound isolation is very poor, and we were disturbed by the sound of people sitting just outside our room, drinking beer and talking. We could hear people so clearly that we felt we were sitting there. And they had the poorest breakfast.

The staff were all happy to be there and made us all feel very welcome. They couldn’t do more to make our stay as good as possible and even went out of their way to nip us to the local shop. Genuinely lovely to experience such lovely vibes.

On arrival staff told me that I probably would not want to sleep in the tent I booked because it was too cold. They offered me a room which would cost me 140 pounds extra. I asked them why they offer the tent if its not suitable in October, no reply.The tent was not clean and staff told me they didn't prepare the tent as it was too cold. If I really wanted to stay in the tent they could give me some bedding to sort it out myself.

Nous n'avons rien aimé durant ce séjour. En effet, nous avions reserver une tente. On nous a dit de prendre une tente au hasard de la fermer et que c'était la nôtre. Nous avons donc posé nos affaires et sommes parti nous promener en revenant, nos affaires avait ete déplacé. Niveau sécurité 0. La parti toilette/douche était dans un piteux état. La propreté est à revoir. De plus un seul toilette/douche à l'exterieur pour tous le monde ce n'est pas approprié. Le confort est également à revoir, nous étions posé dans notre tente et nous avions un matelas gonflable dégonflé et de la musique techno à ne plus s'etendre parler juste à côté de nous. Un seul mot sur cette reservation, à fuir.

Au vu des prestations qui n’étaient pas du tout conforme. Nous n’avons pas passé la nuit sur place. Nous avons réservé un autre établissement.
