Bait Almuallem By Nomad

The Hotel itself is absolutely stunning. A beautifully rennovated old ruin, makes you feel thrown back in time in the best way possible. The room was bright and generous, the bed comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a great rooftop with sitting possibilities overlooking the city walls.

The breakfast was with a voucher to be taken in a nearby Café (Niz Café), which offered a pre-arranged plate of 6 small dishes to choose from (eg falafel, humus, beans). Coffee was not included, if you wanted water, it was for another extra charge. There is only one voucher per room and you don't get more if there's one or two people per room. There was always a long waiting line (café offers this to many hotels) and the portions were not sufficient. We left the breakfast always hungry, going straight to another café after. We gave this feedback to the hotel, but we didn't get a second voucher (for a bigger end-portion) and nothing changed. Also, the hotel stay was not cheap, and then having to pay extra for water and coffee is not okay. The room had no hair dryer and hardly any storage room and the toilet paper was incredibly cheap, it hurt to use it. For some reason there was often water leaking around the toilet and some unpleasant sewage smells.

It was a lovely traditional home/hotel. The staff was lovely and had great communication for our arrival and during our stay to help us. They even taught us about the house and showed us the history of it. The room are a good size - we had one much smaller than the other (the photos on Booking are accurate. Double check which room you want). Very nice village with an overall lovely stay here. We would come again.

Everything..... Property is stunning. Will be back again when next in Oman.. it was a highlight of our trip.

Abholung vom Parkplatz, die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, die Terrasse mit wunderschönem Ausblick über Nizwa. Die Unterkunft an sich hat total Charme und ist süß und traditionell eingerichtet.

Wenig Abstellfläche im Zimmer und im Bad.

Wunderschön und geschmackvoll renoviertes altes Haus im Zentrum von Nizwa. Besonders freundlicher Empfang.

Das Zimmer war leider etwas klein und hatte kein Fenster.

Central location, beautiful historical building with rooftop, nice staff, clean rooms

Very minimal and small breakfast at coffee shop outside, small room, loud and weak AC, toilets installed wrong with shower glass just in front, almost impossible to sit on the ring. Carpets on stairs totally unnecessary, they fall off immediately. Rather dark room with small window.

L'emplacement idéal en plein centre de la ville. Le personnel était très agréable.

Surpris par l'absence de fenêtre dans la chambre.
